Countess of Essex. Name variations: Isabel Plantagenet. Born in 1409; died on October 2, 1484; interred at Little Easton Church, Essex; daughter of Richard of Conisbrough (c. 1375–1415), 2nd earl of Cambridge (r. 1414–1415), and Anne Mortimer (1390–1411); aunt of Edward IV and Richard III, kings of England; married Sir Thomas Grey of Heton, after February 1413 (annulled 1426); married Henry Bourchier (c. 1404–1483), 1st/14th earl of Essex (r. 1461–1483), before April 25, 1426; children: (second marriage) William Bourchier, viscount Bourchier (d. 1483); Henry Bourchier; Humphrey Bourchier, Lord Cornwall; John Bourchier; Thomas Bourchier; Edward Bourchier; Fulke Bourchier; Isabel Bourchier (died young); Hugh Bourchier; Florence Bourchier (d. 1525).
