Scottish politician. Name variations: Karen Turnbull. Born Karen Turnbull, 1967, in Edinburgh, Scotland; m. James Gillon.

Served as personal assistant to Helen Liddell (MP, 1997); representing Labour for Clydesdale, was the 1st woman elected to the Scottish Parliament.
