Made London debut in Ladies and Gentlemen (1937), then appeared as Lady Jane in Victoria Regina; in NY, starred in French without Tears, Set to Music and Lady Windermere's Fan; made film debut in Escape Me Never (1935), followed by Moscow Nights, The Citadel, Dangerous Cargo, Convoy, Major Barbara, In Which We Serve, Immortal Battalion, English without Tears and Her Man Bilbey, among others; retired following marriage.
