Herodian noblewoman. Born in 38 ce; died in the eruption of Mount Vesuvius, 79 ce; third and youngest daughter of Herod Agrippa I; sister of Herod Agrippa II and Berenice (28–80 ce); married Azizus, the king of Emesa; children: at least one son.
Born in 38 ce, Drusilla was the daughter of Herod Agrippa I. She was induced by Felix, the Roman procurator of Judea, to leave her husband Azizus, king of Emesa, to become Felix's adulterous companion. She was with Felix when Paul reasoned of "righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come" (Acts 24:24). Drusilla and her son died in the eruption of Mount Vesuvius.
