Made Broadway debut (1941); made film debut in Dangerously They Live (1941); also appeared in Kings Row, Desperate Journey, The Gay Sisters, Edge of Darkness, In Our Time, Mourning Becomes Electra, and as Anne Brontë in Devotion, among others; on tv, had recurring roles on "Edge of Night" and "Ryan's Hope."
