Practiced homeopathy in NY (1880s); influenced by New Thought leaders, became interested in faith healing; published regularly in Unity (from 1892); writing collections include the Unity textbook, Lessons in Truth (1908), God a Present Help (1908), and Miscellaneous Writings (1916), later titled How I Used Truth.
