Canadian speedskater. Name variations: Lela Brooks Potter, Lela Brooks Bleich. Born Feb 17 (some sources cite Feb 7), 1908, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada; m. 2nd husband Russ Campbell (died 1967); m. Clifford Bleich, 1972.

Set 6 world records (1925); came in 1st all-around, World championships (1926) and North American Indoor championships (1935); retired (1936). Inducted into Canadian Sports Hall of Fame.
