Assiniboine tribal leader and politician. Born Mar 23, 1901, in Wolf Point, Montana; died June 1986, in Wolf Point; educated in southern California at Sherman Institute.
The 1st Native woman elected to Montana state legislature, served with distinction as chair of the Federal Relations Committee; was also the 1st woman in the history of the Assiniboines to be elected chair of the tribal council.
