Zoogloea
Zoogloea (family Pseudomonadaceae) A genus of bacteria in which young cells are motile with a single polar flagellum, but later clump together to form flocs which may be visible to the naked eye. They are aerobic chemo-organotrophs, found in organically polluted, freshwater habitats and in aerobically treated sewage.
