Neolampadoida (subphylum Echinozoa, class Echinoidea) A small and poorly known order of irregular echinoids, with non-petaloid ambulacra, which may be descended from the Cassiduloida. They are known as fossils from the Upper Eocene, and are extant in tropical seas.
