Mars Surveyor
Mars Surveyor Four NASA missions to Mars, some consisting of two launches. Mars Surveyor '98 comprises an orbiter, to be launched in 1998, and a lander, to be launched in 1999. Mars Surveyor 2001, to be launched in 2001, will place a vehicle in orbit and send a lander with a rover to the surface. Mars Surveyors 2003 and 2005 will each send a lander and rover to Mars, one to be launched in 2003, the other in 2005.
