lordosis
lordosis (lor-doh-sis) n. forward curvature of the spine when viewed from the side. A certain degree of lordosis is normal in the lumbar and cervical regions of the spine. Exaggerated lordosis may occur through faulty posture or in disorders of vertebral development. Compare kyphosis.
