DAVAR (The word, in Hebrew)
Israel's daily Labor newspaper, founded in 1925 and considered the mouthpiece of the Histadrut union. In October 1995, in an effort to demarcate itself from the Israel Labor Party, the leadership of the newspaper started to use a new name, Davar Rishon. The paper disappeared in 1996.
