Menorah, the a sacred candelabrum with seven branches used in the Temple in Jerusalem, originally that made by the craftsman Bezalel and placed in the sanctuary of the Tabernacle (Exodus 37:17 ff.). The Menorah framed by two olive branches is the emblem of the state of Israel.

The name menorah also denotes a candelabrum used in Jewish worship, especially one with eight branches used at Hanukkah.
