James, the Epistle of
James, the Epistle of Book of the New Testament consisting of a letter traditionally attributed to St James, the brother of Jesus. Its authorship is, however, far from certain. It exhorts Christians to live righteous lives, warning that profession of Christian faith should not take the place of good works.
