Description:

Commonwealth-supported, university, coed. Part of University of Puerto Rico System. Awards bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees. Founded 1911. Setting: 315-acre urban campus. Research spending 2003-04: $10.9 million. Educational spending 2003-04: $3260 per student. Total enrollment: 12,108. Faculty: 650 (612 full-time, 38 part-time).
