Description:

Province-supported, university, coed. Awards bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees. Founded 1785. Setting: 7,100-acre urban campus. Total enrollment: 9,521. Faculty: 645 (500 full-time, 145 part-time). Student-undergrad faculty ratio is 18:1. 2,858 applied, 76% were admitted. Costs Per Year:

Application fee: $35. Comprehensive fee: $11,458 includes full-time tuition ($4770), mandatory fees ($300), and college room and board ($6388). Room and board charges vary according to board plan. Part-time tuition: $492 per term.

Collegiate Environment:

Orientation program. Drama-theater group, choral group, student-run newspaper, radio station. Social organizations: 100 open to all.
