Description:

Independent Roman Catholic, comprehensive, coed. Awards associate, bachelor's, and master's degrees. Founded 1921. Setting: 100-acre suburban campus with easy access to Cincinnati. Endowment: $8.8 million. Educational spending 2003-04: $6700 per student. Total enrollment: 1,465. Faculty: 129 (72 full-time, 57 part-time). Student-undergrad faculty ratio is 15:1. 1,063 applied, 63% were admitted. 11% from top 10% of their high school class, 33% from top quarter, 66% from top half. 12 valedictorians. Students come from 56 states and territories, 10 other countries, 34% from out-of-state, 0.2% Native American, 1% Hispanic, 5% black, 1% Asian American or Pacific Islander, 1% international, 31% 25 or older, 20% live on campus. Costs Per Year:

Application fee: $25. Comprehensive fee: $24,420 includes full-time tuition ($17,600), mandatory fees ($720), and college room and board ($6100). College room only: $2900. Full-time tuition and fees vary according to program. Room and board charges vary according to board plan and housing facility. Part-time tuition: $450 per credit hour. Collegiate Environment:

Community Environment:

The campus is located just 10 minutes south of downtown Cincinnati. The Greater Cincinnati International Airport is a five-minute drive from campus. Numerous activities and faculties include the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, jazz clubs, restaurants, shops, live theater and ballet, the Cincinnati Zoo, the annual Riverfest, Oktoberfest and Taste of Cincinnati. Teams include the Cincinnati Reds and the Bengals.
