Description: State-supported, comprehensive, coed. Part of State University of New York System. Awards bachelor's and master's degrees. Founded 1871. Setting: 220-acre small town campus with easy access to Rochester. Endowment: $5.3 million. Research spending 2002-03: $1.2 million. Educational spending 2002-03: $4839 per student. Total enrollment: 5,550. Faculty: 349 (246 full-time, 103 part-time). Student-undergrad faculty ratio is 19:1. 8,783 applied, 42% were admitted. 48% from top 10% of their high school class, 86% from top quarter, 99% from top half. 35 valedictorians. Full-time: 5,201 students, 63% women, 37% men. Part-time: 106 students, 65% women, 35% men.
