Proprietary, comprehensive, coed. Part of National College. Awards associate, bachelor's, and master's degrees. Founded 1941. Setting: 8-acre urban campus. Endowment: $30,000. National College is located in a community of about 57,000 residents. Rapid City is a retail hub for several Midwestern states. Only 20 minutes away lies one of the most popular tourist areas in the world—Mount Rushmore—which is nestled in the majestic Black Hills.
