JLTLA Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To inspire educational pursuits in the field of law among law students. Focus: Law. Qualif.: Program is open to second or third year law students that are from or attending law school in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Criteria: Selection will be based on financial need and merit.

Funds Avail.: No specific amount. To Apply: Applicants must submit the following requirements: application; a short biographical sketch (5-7 sentences, written in third person for inclusion in gala booklet if selected); photograph (3x5 or larger of head and shoulders, photograph should be suitable for inclusion in gala booklet if selected); a certified copy of law school transcript; letters of reference; and a brief essay. JLTLA Texas Bar Review Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To inspire educational pursuits in the field of law among minority law students. Focus: Law. Qualif.: Applicants must be in their 3L year and must be taking the Texas Bar Examination. Criteria: Scholarship is given based on both merit and financial need.

Funds Avail.: No specific amount. To Apply: Applicants must submit the following requirements: application; financial statement; resume; essay; and letter of reference; certified copy of law school transcript; short biographical sketch (5-7 sentences length, and written in third person); photograph (size 3x5 or larger of head and shoulders only.
