Griffin Foundation Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To award scholarship to qualified applicants who have an associate degree from a junior or community college. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must have an associate degree or at least 60 hours from a junior or community college and are seeking to complete a baccalaureate degree. Criteria: Scholarships will be awarded on a competitive basis by ranking applicants in the following areas for their activities since graduation from high school: Scholarship; Leadership and service; Personal traits; and Financial need.

Funds Avail.: $5,000. To Apply: Application form can be downloaded from the Griffin Foundation website. Applicants must type or print their application legibly; applicants must attach three letters of recommendation, at least one of which is from a college faculty member, counselor or administrator who can comment on applicant qualifications (be sure recommendations are signed). Applicants must attach an official copy of grade transcript(s) from each college attended. Scholarship can only be used at Colorado State University (Fort Collins Campus), the University of Northern Colorado, or the University of Wyoming (Larimie Campus). Deadline: March 1.
