Description:

State-supported, comprehensive, coed. Part of University System of Georgia. Awards bachelor's and master's degrees and post-master's certificates. Founded 1889. Setting: 590-acre small town campus. Endowment: $2.7 million. Research spending 2003-04: $184,782. Educational spending 2003-04: $8283 per student. Total enrollment: 5,531. Faculty: 407 (268 full-time, 139 part-time).
