Independent, 4-year, coed. Part of Foundation for Educational Achievement, San Diego. Awards bachelor's degrees. Founded 1887. Setting: 2-acre suburban campus with easy access to San Francisco and San Jose. Endowment: $6.8 million. Total enrollment: 376. 30 applied, 90% were admitted. 20% from top 10% of their high school class, 30% from top quarter, 100% from top half. Full-time: 172 students, 16% women, 84% men.
