Description:

Independent Lutheran, 4-year, coed. Awards associate and bachelor's degrees. Founded 1927. Setting: 50-acre small town campus with easy access to Minneapolis-St. Paul. Endowment: $33.2 million. Educational spending 2003-04: $7361 per student. Total enrollment: 568. Student-undergrad faculty ratio is 12:1. 380 applied, 82% were admitted. 13% from top 10% of their high school class, 28% from top quarter, 52% from top half. Full-time: 541 students, 56% women, 44% men. Part-time: 27 students, 56% women, 44% men. Freshmen guaranteed college housing. On-campus residence required through junior year. Options: men-only, women-only housing available.
