Zenetos, Takis Ch.
Zenetos, Takis Ch. (1926–77). Greek architect. Believing that housing should be elaborate, even luxurious, he opposed prevailing tendencies in the West to provide poor-quality low-cost housing to minimum standards, and abhorred the box-like forms of Modernist housing. Among his works may be mentioned the house at 21 Xanthou, Glyfada, Attica (1961), the apartment-block, 34 Amalias, Athens (1959–with Margaritis Apostolidis (1922– ) ), and the renovation of the Fix Brewery, 53 Syngrou, Athens (1957–with Apostolidis).
