Olin, Laurie
Olin, Laurie (1939– ). American landscape-architect. He established (1976) his practice in Philadelphia, PA, as Hanna/Olin with Bob Hanna. Among his works are Westlake Park, Seattle, WA (1987–90); Bryant Park, NYC (1987–92); gardens at Canary Wharf, London (1985–91—with Skidmore, Owings, & Merrill); the grounds of the Villa Olimpica, Barcelona (1991–2—with SOM and Gehry); and Pershing Square, Los Angeles, CA (1992–4—with Legorreta). He was responsible for the design of the grounds of the Getty Center, Los Angeles, CA (1984–96—with Meier).
