PCI
PCI Abbrev. for peripheral component interface. A standard, designed by Intel, for connecting peripherals to a personal computer, and published in 1993. The design is independent of the processor, handling 32 or 64 bits at up to 66MHz. PCI is available on virtually all PCs and Apple computers.
