SIDELIGHTS: Hypnotherapist Bruce Goldberg received a B.A. in biology and chemistry from Southern Connecticut State College. He attended dental school at the University of Maryland, where he earned a D.D.S. degree. In 1976 he opened a dental practice in Baltimore, MD, where he also practiced as a hypnotherapist during the same period. He received an M.S. in counseling and psychology in 1984. Goldberg closed both Baltimore practices in 1989, and began practicing hypnotherapy in Los Angeles.
