CAREER:

Teacher in Thailand; pastor of Universalist churches in Ohio, early 1920s; pastor in Cincinnati, OH, 1926-32; Throop Memorial Universalist Church, Pasadena, CA, pastor, 1932-38; Universalist Church in America, general superintendent, 1938-53. Participant in planning for merger of the Universalist Church in America with American Unitarian Association.
