Szántó, Theodor (b Vienna, 1877; d Budapest, 1934). Austrian-born Hung. pianist and composer. Rev. vers. of Delius's pf. conc. (1906–7) is ded. to him; gave f.p. at Promenade Concert in London 1907. Wrote opera Typhoon (1924), orch. works, and chamber music.
