Mignan, Edouard-Charles-Octave, French organist and composer; b. Paris, March 17, 1884; d. there, Sept. 17, 1969. He studied at the Paris Cons, with Widor (organ) and Vidal (composition). He was church organist at Orléans and later at the Madeleine in Paris. He wrote a number of melodious orch. suites, a Sym., sacred choruses, numerous motets, and organ pieces.
