Leroux, Xavier (Henry Napoléon)

Leroux, Xavier (Henry Napoléon), French composer; b. Velletri, Papal States, Oct. 11, 1863; d. Paris, Feb. 2, 1919. He was a pupil of Dubois and Massenet at the Paris Cons., and won the First Grand Prix de Rome in 1885. In 1896 he was appointed a prof, at the Cons.
