Gistelinck, Elias, Belgian composer; b. Beveren Leie, May 27, 1935. He received his training at the Brussels Cons, and the Paris Cons., then served as a producer for the Belgian Radio and Television (from 1961). He received the Italia Prize (1969) and a prize from the Fondation de France (1984).
