Cottrau, Teodoro
Cottrau, Teodoro (b Naples, 1827; d Naples, 1879). It. composer and publisher. Wrote 50 Neapolitan melodies, most famous being Santa Lucia (1850). In 1848 became joint owner of his father's publishing firm Girard's. Close friend of Bellini and Donizetti.
