Capoiatlu, Dumitru, Romanian composer; b. Bucharest, Oct. 19, 1929. He studied at the Bucharest Cons. (1941–53) with Jora, Mendelsohn, Vancea, Andricu, and Rogalski. From 1969 to 1973 he was manager of the Georges Enesco Phil.
