In the near future, bio-technology advances allow people to transfer their minds into the bodies of others. The process called “floating” lets anyone “travel” by having his or her consciousness transmitted anywhere in the world. When anti-corporate terrorists assassinate a powerful CEO, Baldwin is called in to investigate the murder. He is transported to San Francisco, where he ends up occupying the body of the lead terrorist (MacLachlan). Then he must fight to reclaim his body. The concept is more than compelling, and the action sequences generally overcome the relative low budget of the production. 110m/C VHS, DVD . CA Stephen Baldwin, Kyle MacLachlan, Kim Coates, Pascale Bussieres; D: Allan Moyle. VIDEO
