Untraceable ★½ 2008 (R)
Agent Jennifer Marsh (Lane) is an FBI “cybercrime” expert who must find a killer whose elaborate, torturous murders are broadcast live on the Internet. The twist? The more hits the killer's website gets, the faster he kills his victims. Eventually, Marsh must work to stop the killer and protect her own family as well. Cynical movie that aspires to condemn people's love of exploitative violence while serving up lots of violent exploitation without a shred of irony to redeem it. 100m/C DVD . US Diane Lane, Billy Burke, Colin Hanks, Joseph Cross, Mary Beth Hurt, Ty(rone) Giordano, Perla Haney-Jardine, Peter Lewis, Tim De Zarn; D: Gregory Hoblit; W: Allison Burnett, Robert Fyvolent, Mark R. Brinker; C: Anastas Michos; M: Christopher Young.
