Bisexual artist Jean-Baptiste Emmerich (Trintignant) has died in Paris but wished to be buried in his hometown of Limoges—a fourhour train trip for his motley group of mourners, which include friends, relatives, and former lovers of both sexes. Things don't calm down at the cemetery where yet more relatives await, including the artist's estranged twin brother.
