Ms. Bear ★★½ 1997 (G)
Logging operations in a Canadian forest have disturbed the local bear population and down-on-his-luck Barney decides to make some money by tranquilizing the animals and selling them to a zoo importer. A cub escapes and wanders into the yard of lonely, seven-year-old Emily, who befriends the cute critter. Then, with Emily's help, Barney learns the importer is actually killing the bears and only selling their paws to the overseas market. So a rescue is in order. 95m/C VHS . Ed Begley Jr., Kaitlyn Burke, Shawn Johnston; D: Paul Ziller.
