The Goodbye Girl
The Goodbye Girl ★★★ 1977 (PG)
Neil Simon's story of a former actress, her precocious nine-year-old daughter and the aspiring actor who moves in with them. The daughter serves as catalyst for the other two to fall in love. While Mason's character is fairly unsympathetic, Dreyfuss is great and Simon's dialogue witty. 110m/C VHS, DVD .
