Frankish noblewoman. Name variations: Rothrude; Rotrou of Belgium; Rotrude. Died in 724; daughter of St. Leutwinus; married Charles Martel, mayor of Austrasia and Neustria (r. 714–741); children: Carloman, mayor of Austrasia (d. 754); Pepin III the Short (715–768), mayor of Neustria (r. 741), king of the Franks (r. 747–768); Grifon; Bernard, count of St. Quentin. Charles Martel's second wife was Sunnichild (d. 741).
