German saint. Possibly daughter of St. Hilaria who was martyred at the tomb of Afra in the 4th century.

Afra is the local saint of Augsburg, who, according to tradition, suffered martyrdom under Diocletian. Said to have originally been a prostitute, Afra is commemorated on August 5.
