Mafioso ★★½ 1962

Black comedy from Lattuada that was revolutionary for its depiction of everyday Mafia life in Sicily. Nino (Sordi) is a longtime foreman at the Fiat plant in Milan. He decides to use his vacation time and take his wife (Conti) and daughters to visit his small hometown of Calamo. It's Nino's first visit home in years (and quite a culture shock for his wife) but that doesn't mean he's forgotten where to pay his respects. But town boss Don Vincenzo (Attanasio) is quick to remind Nino that he still owes him a favor and the Don now wants to collect. Italian with subtitles. 108m/B DVD .
