Description:

State and locally supported, comprehensive, coed. Part of City University of New York System. Awards bachelor's and master's degrees and post-master's certificates. Founded 1870. Setting: urban campus. Total enrollment: 20,243. Faculty: 1,358 (632 full-time, 726 part-time). Student-undergrad faculty ratio is 17:1. 12,776 applied, 30% were admitted. Full-time: 10,318 students, 70% women, 30% men. Part-time: 5,043 students, 69% women, 31% men.
