Judge Isaac Anderson, Jr. Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide to a two-year regionally accredited college or university to a Lee County high school senior who can demonstrate financial need. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicant must be a graduate from public or private high school in Lee County; must have financial need; must maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher; must demonstrate strong ties to the community through extracurricular activities, religious endeavors or community service; and must plan to attend a two-or-four year regionally accredited college or university. Criteria: Selection of recipients will be based on academic performance and financial need.

Lewis B. Barber Memorial Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To fund books and tuition for students pursuing either of the following educational paths: (1) certification to teach the deaf and blind; (2) seminary or pre-seminary school to study church, Christian music or Christian education. Focus: Christian education; Church occupations. Qua-lif.: Applicants must graduate from public or private high school in Charlotte, Collier, Glades, Hendry or Lee County; must maintain satisfactory grades; must acknowledge and express Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior; and must demonstrate financial need. Criteria: Scholarship recipients are selected based upon the specific criteria made by each fund's donor. Scholarship application is reviewed by the Scholarship Committee. Selection of applicants will be based on academic standing and financial need.

James Bilder Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To fund tuition for high school students intending to pursue vocational or technical studies. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must have graduated from public high school in Lee County; must pursue 2-year degree at community college or technical certification at certified technical school; and must demonstrate financial need. Criteria: Scholarship recipients are selected based upon the specific criteria made by each fund's donor. Scholarship application is reviewed by the Scholarship Committee. Selection of applicants will be based on academic standing and financial need.

Jordan ABDO/Michael Bluett Memorial Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To fund scholarships for a North Fort Myers High School male or female student athlete. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must have graduated from North Fort Myers High School; must be student athletes with a GPA of at least 3.5. Criteria: Scholarship recipients are selected based upon the specific criteria made by each fund's donor. Scholarship application is reviewed by the Scholarship Committee. Selection of applicants will be based on academic standing and financial need.

Carl E. Brooks Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To fund tuition for college-bound students of one or more immigrant parents. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must have graduated from public or private high school in Charlotte, Collier, Glades, Hendry or Lee County. Criteria: Scholarship recipients are selected based upon the specific criteria made by each fund's donor. Scholarship application is reviewed by the Scholarship Committee. Selection of applicants will be based on academic standing and financial need.

John and Ruth Childe Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To fund education of students with physical disability intending to pursue higher education in a college, university or technical school. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be graduates from a public or private high school in Lee county; must have a disability; and must have good academic standing. Criteria: Consideration is made for middle-income families.

Funds Avail.: No specific amount. To Apply: Applicants must complete application form, available online and must have a letter of interest, transcript and letter of recommendation. City of Sanibel Employee Dependent Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide financial assistance for qualified dependents of Sanibel City employees to attend a college or university. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicant must be a dependent of a Sanibel City Employee (includes City Clerk's office, finance, legal, legislative, planning, police, building, natural resources, public works, management information systems, utility, recreation, and administrative services); must demonstrate financial need and academic achievement. Criteria: Scholarship recipients are selected based upon the specific criteria made by each fund's donor. Scholarship application is reviewed by the Scholarship Committee.

Purpose: To provide educational assistance for Moore Haven High School students pursuing post-secondary education. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicant must be a Moore Haven High School senior; must pursue post-secondary education. Criteria: Application materials are reviewed by a member of the Community Foundation's Scholarship Reading Committee. Selection of applicants will be based on academic standing and financial need.

D&A Florida Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To fund a student who will attend: FGCU, university of Florida/Gainesville, Florida State University/Tallahassee, Flagler College, Stetson University/Deland, University of Miami, University of Tampa, or Embry Riddle Aeronautical University/Daytona Beach. Focus: Architecture; Business; Engineering; International affairs and relations; Journalism; Computer and information sciences; Law; Literature; Medicine; Physics; Chemistry; Political science. Doctors IRA & UDAYA Nursing Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To fund a student studying nursing at Edison College or Florida Gulf Coast University. Focus: Nursing. Qualif.: Applicants must plan to attend or be attending Edison College or Florida Gulf Coast University; must be enrolled in a nursing program; and must demonstrate financial need. Criteria: Scholarship recipients are selected based upon the specific criteria made by each fund's donor. Scholarship application is reviewed by the Scholarship Committee. Selection of applicants will be based on academic standing and financial need.

Dunbar Heritage Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To fund a Dunbar High School graduating student of African-American descent in pursuing a bachelor's degree at an accredited college. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicant must be a graduating member of Dunbar High School; must be of African-American descent; must have financial need; must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher; and must enter college within the year following high school graduation. Criteria: Scholarship recipients are selected based upon the specific criteria made by each fund's donor. Scholarship application is reviewed by the Scholarship Committee. Selection of applicants will be based on academic standing and financial need.

Anne M. Fassett Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To fund post-high school educational opportunities at the college, community college, or technical school level for males and females with a physical disability and who use a wheelchair. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must have graduated from a public or private high school in Charlotte, Collier, Glades, Hendry or Lee County; must be currently enrolled or planning to attend a Florida state college, community college or technical school; must have a physical disability and use a wheelchair; and must demonstrate financial need. Criteria: Scholarship recipients are selected based upon the specific criteria made by each fund's donor. Scholarship application is reviewed by the Scholarship Committee. Purpose: To fund high school or undergraduate/graduate students planning to study at a 4-year accredited college in the area of Communications or Journalism. Focus: Communications; Journalism. Qualif.: Applicants must have graduated from a public or private high school in Charlotte, Collier, Glades, Hendry or Lee County; must pursue a degree in Communications, English or Journalism; and must maintain satisfactory grades. Charles and Margaret Foster Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide financial assistance for qualified students in Florida. Focus: Environmental technology; Music. Qualif.: Applicant must be a resident of Lee County and must be studying environmental studies or environmental education at the University of Florida or studying music at Florida State University. Criteria: Scholarship recipients are selected based upon the specific criteria made by each fund's donor. Scholarship application is reviewed by the Scholarship Committee.

Dorris W. Frey Memorial Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To fund students studying Christian ministry/youth ministry, Christian counseling, nursing and medicine. Focus: Ministry; Christian education; Nursing; Medicine. Qualif.: Applicants must have graduated from a public or private high school in Charlotte, Collier, Glades, Hendry or Lee County; must pursue one of the above named degrees of study; must maintain satisfactory grades; must be committed to Jesus Christ and show commitment through action in ministering to others; and must have recognized ability and academic performance with standard measures of grades and appropriate test scores. Criteria: Scholarship recipients are selected based on the specific criteria made by each fund's donor. Scholarship application is reviewed by the Scholarship Committee. Selection of applicants will be based on academic standing and financial need.

American Association of University Women-Mary Sue Gottcent Memorial Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To fund Lee County females who are enrolled in accredited programs of study at either 2-year or 4-year accredited institutions. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be residents of Lee County who demonstrate financial need. Criteria: Preference will be given to females over 25 years of age.

William L. Graddy Law School Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To fund scholarships for students who have completed their first year of course load at an accredited law school. Focus: Law. Qualif.: Applicants must have completed first year of law school; must have a GPA of 2.8 or above and be in the top 25% of class; must have been a resident of Charlotte, Collier, Glades, Hendry or Lee for at least 3 years; and must demonstrate financial need. Criteria: Scholarship recipients are selected based upon the specific criteria made by each fund's donor. Scholarship application is reviewed by the Scholarship Committee. Francis Harris Gresham Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To fund tuition for college-bound seniors from Lee County high schools. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must have graduated from a public or private high school in Lee County. Matt Harmon Memorial Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To fund books and tuition for college-bound male baseball players. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be graduates of a public school in Lee County; must be male; must demonstrate financial need; and must have played baseball in high school. Criteria: Scholarship recipients are selected based upon the specific criteria made by each fund's donor. Scholarship application is reviewed by the Scholarship Committee.

Chip Johnson Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To fund scholarships for students who have completed 60 hours of college and plan to attend one of named colleges. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must have completed 60 semester hours of college and plan to continue study toward a 4-year degree at Barry University, FGCU, Nova, Edison College or International College, or a regionally-accredited college in the 5-county area; must have a GPA of 3.5 or above and an outstanding record of academic achievement; must have lived in the 5-county area served by the Community Foundation (Charlotte, Collier, Glades, Hendry and Lee); and must have demonstrated leadership, community service and service to school. Criteria: Scholarship recipients are selected based upon the specific criteria made by each fund's donor. Scholarship application is reviewed by the scholarship committee. George E. Judd Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To fund tuition for graduating seniors pursuing higher education in the fine or performing arts. Focus: Fine arts; Performing arts. Qualif.: Applicants must graduate from public or private high school in Lee County and must pursue a degree in the fine or performing arts. Criteria: Scholarship recipients are selected based upon the specific criteria made by each fund's donor. Scholarship application is reviewed by the scholarship Committee.

Doc Keen Memorial Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To fund a scholarship for college or vocational school for a student who was an active member of 4-H or a FFA Organization for two consecutive years and has attended a Moore Haven, Clewiston, or LaBelle high school. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicant must be a graduate from a Moore Haven, Clewinston or LaBelle high school; must pursue higher education; must maintain satisfactory grades; and must have been an active member of 4-H or a FFA Organization for two consecutive years. Criteria: Application materials are reviewed by a member of the Community Foundation's Scholarship Reading Committee. Selection of applicants will be based on academic standing and financial need.

Isabel Mayer Kirkpatrick Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To fund tuition for high school graduates with a “B” average of 3.03.7. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must graduate from public or private high school in Lee County; must be well-rounded in terms of education, community service, sports and leadership activities; and must have a GPA of 3.0-3.7 (anything higher will disqualify the student). Criteria: Application materials must be reviewed by a member of the Community Foundation's Scholarship Reading Committee. Selection of applicants will be based on academic standing and financial need.

Robert A. Kleckner Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To fund high school and undergraduate/graduate students who are pursuing a career in finance or accounting. Focus: Finance; Accounting. Qualif.: Applicants must be residents of Charlotte, Glades, Hendry or Lee County pursuing a degree in finance or accounting. Love of Bonita Empowerment Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To fund books, tuition and/or course fees for Bonita Spring residents to attend a college or technical school. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicant must be a resident of Bonita Spring and must demonstrate financial need. Criteria: Scholarship recipients are selected based upon the specific criteria made by each fund's donor. Scholarship application is reviewed by the Scholarship Committee. Selection of applicants will be based on academic standing and financial need.

Purpose: To fund tuition for females pursuing a business career in college. Focus: Business. Qualif.: Applicants must have graduated from a public or private high school in Lee County with a documented “B” average; must be females pursuing a business career in college. Criteria: Scholarship recipients are selected based upon the specific criteria made by each fund's donor. Scholarship application is reviewed by the scholarship committee. Chet and Jannett Perry Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide funding support for students pursuing a career in accounting. Focus: Accounting. Qualif.: Applicant must be graduating from a public or private high school in Charlotte, Hendry, Glades or Lee County; must pursue a degree in accounting; and must enter college within a year following high school graduation. Criteria: Scholarship recipients are selected based upon the specific criteria made by each fund's donor. Scholarship application is reviewed by the Scholarship Committee. Focus: Technical training; Computer and information sciences; Nursing. Qualif.: Applicants must be 21 years of age or older; must be residents of Lee County; and must demonstrate financial need. Rockin’ Christmas Fund Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To fund a student who has displayed high levels of excellence in academic and/or athletics and who has lost a parent due to an illness or sudden death and to help qualified students to pay for education in a college, university or technical school. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must have graduated from a public or private high school in Lee or Collier to receive the award which will be based upon satisfactory evidence of matriculation to a college, university or technical school; must provide evidence of a academic athletic achievement from any coach at school or from any league participated in, if not at school; and must demonstrate financial need. Applicants do not have to have played high school sports but rather must demonstrate that athletics are a part of their life. Criteria: Scholarship recipients are selected based upon the specific criteria made by each fund's donor. Scholarship application is reviewed by the Scholarship Committee. Selection of applicants will be based on academic standing and financial need.

To Apply: Applicants must provide a letter from guidance counselors of the high school signed by the counselor on how the student qualifies under the loss of parent criteria; must submit a letter of interest, transcript, and letter of recommendation.
