Ruth Adams Memorial Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To encourage educational pursuits among Red-lands Unified School District graduates by providing educational assistance. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicant must be a female graduating senior who has been accepted at and will be attending the University of Redlands as a full-time student. Criteria: Award is given based on merit.

Qualif.: Applicant must be a senior whose athletic prowess has been limited, for the most part, to junior varsity teams and who plans to attend an institution of higher learning on a full-time basis. Criteria: Award is given based on sportsmanship, citizenship, scholarship and financial need.

Qualif.: Applicant must be an outstanding metal shop or auto body student who displays dedication, skill and desire to become a true craftsman. Student must demonstrate creativity, show problem solving abilities, and exhibit good social skills. Criteria: Award is given based on merit.

Qualif.: Applicant must be a graduating senior who has participated for at least three consecutive years in the water polo and/or swimming program. Student must have maintained at least a 3.0 GPA and be planning to continue in an aquatic program in college. Criteria: Award is given based on merit.

Purpose: To encourage educational pursuits among Red-lands Unified School District graduates by providing educational assistance. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicant must be a graduating senior with at least a 3.0 GPA; must be planning to attend an accredited college, university, or vocational program; and must have continuous involvement in scouting and community service. Criteria: Preference is given to individuals who have attained the rank of Eagle Scout.
