Indiana Broadcasters Association for College Scholarship Program (Undergraduate/Scholarship)
Purpose: To promote cooperation and understanding among broadcasters, both radio and television as well as among businesses and other organizations associated with the broadcast industry; to foster and promote the development of the art of broadcasting; to encourage and promote customs and practices which will be in the best interests of the public and the broadcasting industry; to protect members in every lawful and proper manner from injuries and unjust actions; and to act as a contact with other broadcast associations. Focus: Broadcasting. Qualif.: Applicants must have an overall 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale; must be residents of Indiana; must be second semester seniors at an Indiana High school planning to attend an Indiana post-secondary school; must be actively participating in a high school broadcast facility while attending an Indiana high school; and must have received credit in a High School Broadcasting, Telecommunications or Broadcast Journalism course. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on academic performance.
Funds Avail.: No specific amount. To Apply: Applicants must complete the Transcript Request Form and application form and send them to the College Records Office. Deadline: March 3.
