seroconvert (seer-oh-kŏn-vert) vb. to produce specific antibodies in response to the presence of an antigen (e.g. a vaccine or a virus). In AIDS patients seroconversion is accompanied by a sore throat, swollen lymph nodes, fever, and aches and pains.
