Biblical woman. Name variations: Josaba. Fl. in 9th century; sister of Jehoram of Judah; sister-in-law of Athaliah; m. Jehoiada (high priest).
With help of husband, safeguarded the life of nephew Joash when the entire royal family was slain by Athaliah, and later organized a revolution in his favor, causing Athaliah and her followers to be put to death.
